What is a personnel fund or bonus fund?

A personnel fund or bonus fund is designed for the management and investment of performance bonuses paid by the company. The fund serves as a method for paying out bonuses issued by the company.

No statutory social cost savings are paid on the funded performance bonuses. The personnel fund contribution is not considered taxable income at the time of allocation to the fund.

A maximum of 15% of the restricted capital is transferred annually to the fund member's withdrawable fund units. During the first year, a maximum of 15% of the savings can be withdrawn. In subsequent years, the amount available for withdrawal increases unless the member withdraws the entire available portion.
