How are the fund units paid when employment ends?

Fund valuation and payment schedule:We receive information regarding the termination of employment directly from the company, so you do not need to notify us separately. The fund units will be paid in connection with the payment following the valuation date after the termination of employment. The value of the fund is determined once a year. The payment occurs automatically within four months of the fund's valuation date.

You can check the fund's valuation date from the portal view: Dashboard under Balance Sheet value (dd.mm.).

Right to stagger payments in special circumstances: In certain exceptional situations, you have the right to schedule the withdrawals over a maximum of the following four (4) annual payment dates. This right to stagger applies to you if:

  • You have retired.
  • You have been dismissed on production-related or financial grounds.
  • Your employment has ended after a continuous layoff lasting at least 90 days.

How to stagger payments: Staggering is done in the portal by making a partial withdrawal or by selecting a 0-withdrawal notification. Please note that the notification for staggering must be made annually, otherwise the whole amount will be paid automatically.

Payment details and taxation during the notification period: When the withdrawal notification window opens, you can see the exact amount of your fund units to be paid in the member portal.

Automatic tax rate: Allshares receives the withholding tax rate of your earned income tax card directly from the tax authorities. The information is updated in the portal before the withdrawal notification period opens.

Changing the tax rate: If you wish to use a tax rate specifically applied for your personnel fund units or want to change the withholding tax rate received from the tax authorities for any other reason, you can update the information yourself in the member portal during the withdrawal notification period.

Check your information: Please ensure during the withdrawal notification window that both your payment details and your tax rate are correct in the portal, and update them if necessary.
